O2 Home Broadband comes with the O2 wireless box, so you can go online from the bedroom, study or even the garden and connect up to ten computers at once. It’s easy to get going – our set up CD practically does it for you.
The O2 wireless box is fully guaranteed to work smoothly, and comes with a host of security features, like its built-in firewall, so it’s safer to go online on all your computers.
If you don't want to set up wireless broadband in your home, no problem. You can use Ethernet cables (standard network cables) instead.
The Standard Wireless Box
Available on our Basics, All Rounder and Access packages, our wireless box II supports 802.11b and 802.11g standards.
The O2 Best Wireless Box
Our new best wireless box is available on the Works package and supports wireless N technology which provides improved coverage compared to wireless routers based on the 802.11g standard.
The best wireless box also enables realtime multimedia content streaming - just plug in a USB memory stick to the router and you can share the contents on your home network.
Note: O2 wireless box IV requires n enabled laptop and WPA security enabled to obtain performance improvements.
Please consult your laptop manufacturer's user guide to see if it supports 802.11n wireless technology.
