1. Does the person that buys O2 Mobile Broadband have to be the person that connects to O2 Home Broadband i.e. can you buy mobile broadband and let someone else have the home broadband?
Yes - the person who buys the mobile broadband has to be the same person who receives the home broadband. It cannot be given to someone else.
2.Can an O2 Home Broadband customer who purchased their O2 Home Broadband before the promotion launched, go back into store, return the O2 Home Broadband, buy O2 Mobile Broadband and then get O2 Home Broadband at the discounted price? If so, is there a time limit on how recently they must have purchased the home broadband? What is the process?
Yes - O2 Home Broadband customers can change their package to the combined mobile and home broadband package. We will proactively be going out to all existing O2 Home Broadband customers promoting the offer so there is no need for the customer to return then resign to home broadband. They simply need to sign up to mobile broadband then contact home broadband Customer Services to take advantage of the discounted home broadband offer.
3.Similar to above, if a customer has recently bought O2 Mobile Broadband but now wants to claim their O2 Home Broadband, what timescales and terms and conditions apply to that customer? What is the process?
All O2 Mobile Broadband customers are entitled to receive the discounted O2 Home Broadband offer even if they have already purchased their mobile broadband.
4. If a I opt for the 1 month rolling O2 Mobile Broadband contract, are there any stipulations about how often I need to top up to keep receiving the discounted O2 Home Broadband?
You must pay £15 per month on the rolling 1 month contract in order to receive the discounted O2 Home Broadband element. If you miss a payment your O2 Home Broadband will be charged at the standard price for your chosen package.
